A multinational leader in the packaging industry, with 50 years of experience across industries, our client is looking to develop the present team of Service Engineers, based in Bucharest, but available for a national role.

Your new role

Service engineers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and corrective interventions/service on client's products that have been sold to different customers.
They offer on-site corrective and preventive maintenance as well as other after-sales technical support solutions (remote service).
Service engineers are often the ones who interact with customers to provide information and procedures to address the enquiries, concerns and requests for their products and services.

• Installing machines/equipment’s at customer premises
• Offers customer training for machines/equipment
• Responds to customer complaints; evaluates and resolves technical problems of the customer regarding machines/equipment
• Regular reports and feedback on the services being performed
• Communication with internal support regarding complex issues that need headquarters support
• Works alone/ in a team, depending on the project's complexity
• Works alongside an after-sales team
• Works alongside sales engineers
• Develops and maintains relations with customers

What you'll need to succeed

• A technical degree is the minimum requirement for a service engineer.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is essential, as well as some administrative procedures.
• Minimum 3 years in similar job position
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with electrical/electronic, pneumatic, mechanical procedures
• Communication skills, written and verbal, in order to relay the problem and solution to customers
• English is a must.
• The Spanish language is a plus.
• Driving licence – B category
