Job Objective:
The Senior Consultant State Aid will be responsible for providing specialized consultancy in state aid, developing financial models for large investment projects, and contributing to the success of the integrated finance, tax, and legal team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and analyzing financial models, including balance sheets and profit and loss (P&L) statements for future period of 5-7 years in various field of activity (e.g. manufacturing, energy) starting from the past results or from scratch in case of greenfield projects.
- Providing specialized consultancy in state aid for large investment projects.
- Collaborating with integrated finance, tax, and legal teams to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to projects.
- Participating in meetings with lawyers and other consultants to understand and integrate multiple perspectives into the solutions offered.
- Contributing to maintaining the company’s market-leading position in state aid consultancy for production.
- Monitoring and analyzing legislative and fiscal changes relevant to state aid.
- Participating in financial audit, financial due diligence, business valuation, IFRS financial statements or other financial/business engagements may occur (limited amount of time)
Requirements:
- Previous experience of 3-8 years in audit, M&A, financial/business advisory preferably within a BIG 4 firm or international consulting firms
- ACCA qualification (a significant advantage).
- Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Ability to develop detailed and realistic financial forecasts.
