Hays Romania is recruiting for one of its clients, a large company active in the Shared Service Centre (SSC) sector, for the position of Accounts Payable with Slovak.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support accounts payable migration projects to centralize the invoice-to-pay process.
Coordinate and execute all invoice-to-pay activities, including invoice entry, verification, vendor dunnings, complaints, disputes, outgoing payments, period-end closing, vendor account management, intercompany business, and reporting & analysis.
Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders, including the management team, local CFOs, finance teams, corporate accounting, and global process coordination teams.
Redesign, simplify, digitise, standardise, and automate the invoice-to-pay process.
Support HR and SSC managers in recruiting and onboarding new accounts payable team members.
Ideal Candidate:
Proficient in Slovak, with the ability to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
Possesses an end-to-end process mindset (procure-to-pay process).
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in a shared service centre accounts payable department.
Extensive knowledge of SAP FI or a comparable accounting ERP system.
Additional language skills, particularly in English or German, are an advantage.
Experience with Open Text Vendor Invoice Management and/or S/4 HANA is a plus.
