About client: Our client is seeking an exceptional IT Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. Based in Bucharest, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in our CE and Budget Forecasting product roadmaps. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in bridging the gap between business objectives and product development, ensuring solutions are tailored to user needs and fostering organisational growth.
Your Mission: As an IT Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of IT projects. From coordinating vendors to optimising communication channels, your expertise will guarantee that our products align seamlessly with organisational goals while delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and align annual/quarterly roadmaps with the Digital team for seamless execution.
- Project Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and safeguard quality with effective risk management techniques.
- Performance Optimisation: Track timelines and milestones, conduct quality audits, and ensure compliance with methodologies and standards.
- Documentation: Chronicle project processes, lessons learnt, and best practices to continuously improve organisational performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regular status updates, manage escalations, and maintain clear communication across virtual, multicultural teams.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager in a multidisciplinary environment with a proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully.
- Skills: Expertise in project management methodologies (traditional, Agile, Scrum, Kanban), with familiarity with tools like JIRA or DevOps is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Project management credentials (e.g., PMP) are a strong asset.
- Collaborative Leader: Excellent communication skills in English and a knack for teamwork across diverse cultures and time zones.
- Innovative Thinker: Self-motivated, organised, and capable of independent ownership of tasks with problem-solving prowess.
