We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our client Observability Migration Tooling team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of implementing observability technologies that align with the technological features and organizational routines of a large, regulated financial organization. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive the product vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver high-quality products and services.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction, key milestones, and deliverables for the observability migration tooling.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly define the functionality and requirements of the product, ensuring they are well-understood by the development team.
- Sprint Planning & Review: Lead sprint planning sessions to prioritize work, allocate resources, and set clear objectives. Conduct sprint reviews to assess progress, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards by implementing robust testing and validation processes.
- Regulatory and Standards Compliance: Ensure that the product complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly those applicable to the financial sector.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs and support materials to ensure that users are well-equipped to utilize the observability tools effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of observability technologies and their implementation in large, regulated environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
