For our client, a global pharma company, we are looking for a Medical Director in Bucharest for the Medical Affairs division.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Education/ Certifications: Medical doctor / Master's degree in Pharmacy required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical department of a multinational company
• Ideally, proven experience and a successful track record in a similar role, preferably in the appropriate area (oncology).
• Experience in people management
• Ideally, experience in cross-country project management
• Knowledge of data analysis and statistics for the purpose of understanding clinical study results
• Experience in creation and implementation of local medical plans and expense budget management
• Experience with management of clinical studies, regulatory and pharmacovigilance
• Medical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs – advantage)
• Current working knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals
• Fluent in English, excellent verbal and communication skills
• Driving licence
