For our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to support the team in fostering a positive workplace culture and driving HR initiatives.
As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR functions across the organisation. You will work closely with employees and management to address HR-related needs, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and internal policies. Your contributions will be vital in promoting employee engagement, performance management, and organisational development within our pharmaceutical company.
Location: Bucharest/ hybrid role.
Program: 09:00-18:00
Your new role
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for back office roles, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee enquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts and fostering a positive workplace environment through effective communication and mediation.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Help develop and implement employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Maintain training records and monitor compliance with required training programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in administering employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Address employee enquiries about compensation and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Prepare and maintain HR-related reports, metrics, and data analysis for management review.
HR Projects & Strategy:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and systems.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures that support business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws and employment regulations in Romania.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Romanian and English.
- Driving licence-occasional trips
