• Oversee legal and compliance activities for the organisation, ensuring full adherence to all local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead, coordinate, and manage a team of legal and compliance professionals.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to protect the company's interests and minimise risks.
• Provides strategic legal advice to top management and other departments, ensuring business decisions are made in compliance with relevant laws.
• Coordinate and drive process improvements, ensuring legal and compliance tasks are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across various departments.
• Implement and monitor company policies and procedures in relation to legal and compliance matters.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and laws affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
• Manage projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards of legal and compliance quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for legal and compliance matters within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Educational Background: Jurist degree (Law).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a jurist, with at least 3 years of management experience in a legal or compliance role.
• Proven experience in a senior legal and compliance role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Experience working in multinational companies.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leader and team coordinator with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and concisely.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
• Process coordination and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with task efficiency.
• Open-minded and proactive approach to challenges.
• Mature professional who can make sound decisions in complex situations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (office, remote, the role also includes travel).
