The primary objective of this report is to provide an overview of the current state of gender equality in Romania, with a specific focus on the accessibility of leadership positions for women. Furthermore, we aim to propose improvement solutions that can be implemented by organisations to foster inclusivity and equality.

The report is based on data from surveys conducted by Hays Romania on LinkedIn. The surveys were collected between March and April 2023, and were completed by an average of 240 respondents, mainly professionals and whitecollar employees. In addition to the survey data, we also leveraged the expertise of our leadership team and collected information from credible sources.

LEADERS TALK ABOUT GENDER EQUALITY
Hays Romania conducted a series of interviews with our prominent leaders, exploring the crucial subjects of equal opportunities in the recruitment market and women's access to management positions in Romania. The interviewees share concrete examples from their personal experience, including real-life recruitment processes they have been involved in over the past years. These examples served to highlight instances where equal opportunities were actively promoted, as well as successful cases of women attaining management positions.
